When designing a new and improved deShedding tool, creating a safer way to eliminate shedding was our #1 priority. One of the most common problems with deShedding tools is scraping and irritation of the pet's skin. Harsh metal blades can easily be pressed too hard while removing hair, causing damage to the skin.

FUR4 deShedding tools feature eight SafetyNubs™ to ensure the edges never harm the pet's skin. The smooth, round design of each SafetyNub provides a safer, gentler point of contact with the pet. Our tools also NEVER use harsh metal blades found in other deShedding tools. Instead, our deShedding edges are made using an innovative new material called PolyCarboMax (more on that below). As an added benefit, all FUR4 deShedding edges are antimicrobial effective against bacteria up to 99.99%.
